The spring of 2020 was a period of time where much was unclear, and where several of us had a lot of time freed up. My project «Lyder langt unna» is a result of that, and the slow pace that many might feel themselves falling into. Many things stopped indefinitely, and I turned my attention to elements that have already stood still for a while. I have photographed people and bodies with the same photographic gaze as when I portray nature or objects that have a form of physicality to them. By going up close I have tried to convey a form of presence and capture these quiet moments in a strange time.
